Am I the only one who LOVES when a writer doesn't always use traditional grammar? Obviously, I'm not talking about someone not using commas properly or being extremely bad at it. It's more of the author knows so much about how grammar works that they defy it to enhance the emotion of the scene.
For example, instead of only using one 'and' in a sentence when listing something out, authors use 'and' repeatedly to emphasize the meaning of the sentence.
EX: The man was spiraling in fear. He hated the dark, and blistering wind, and feeling as if someone was watching you from a distance.
