I've been using McSequencer to create MIDI drum tracks. It's a pretty nifty script, but lacks some features and can get itself in a tangle sometimes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a free but better step sequencer? I like the interface of McSequencer, I find it intuitive. The MIDI editor of Reaper is good, but I personally prefer the McSequencer style.
