3 months on oral finasteride 1mg+ oral minoxidil 1mg— noticing thicker/darker hair already? M39

I’m a little over 3 months into treatment now (around 100 days) using oral finasteride + oral & topical minoxidil. I recently buzzed my hair back down to 2 mm because I wanted to compare progress more easily.
The first pictures are from the very beginning of treatment, and the newer ones are from today.
Honestly, I feel like my hair texture has changed a lot already:
hair feels much more rigid/thicker to the touch,
looks darker,
less “soft and empty” than before,
and even at 2 mm it gives more of a dense “carpet” effect compared to baseline.
I’m also noticing tons of tiny dark dots and mini hairs in the thinning areas, especially around the hairline and top/crown. When I zoom in, I can see many small hairs that seem to be coming in.
At the beginning, when my hair was this short, it felt very soft and sparse. Now it feels much stronger and more resistant.
What do you guys think?
Does this look like early regrowth/maturation to you? And for people who responded well, how much more improvement did you get after month 3?
