Hey everyone !
I have recently started playing 40k and I’ve played a a good amount of 500-1000 point games with a good win rate. But I’ve just finished painting my 2000 points and I’ve played 3 games and it’s been a disaster.
I’m finding very difficult to use all my assets correctly and how to trade. I’m finding myself being harassed at my deployment zone as early as turn 2 !
So if you could help me figure out how to make it work it would be awesome, take in mind I can’t buy any new models at the moment.. this is what I got. I also have a cadian castellan, sly marbo and a commissar that I didn’t include in the list.
My strategy at the moment is as follows:
Ursula + cadian command + 10 cadian in the home objetive sending orders.
Field gun on the back harassing enemy home objective.
Right flank - scout sentinel to grab natural enemy objetive, and then follow up with demolisher and 1 squad of cadians. 1 squad of rough riders in the back waiting for counter charge.
Left flank - similar but only 10 cadians - demolisher and the rough riders waiting for counter charge.
Demolishers have full flamers for over watch potencial.
Center - 20 blob kriegs with pysker for 4+ inv save on shots. Karkskin in the back waiting for a counter play in the center.
Rogal dorn commander and Battle tank commander grabbing good firing lanes and buffing the demolishers.
Tempestus aquilons in reserves for deep strike and do late game points or to steal enemy home objective.
