My family lost everything in a house fire about 18 months ago. I had just let our insurance policy lapse 4 months prior because my husband was no longer able to work due to his debilitating health, leaving us unable to afford the premium. While his health won’t let him work, somehow the state does t find his health condition worthy or receiving a monthly check. We are surviving off of my income alone, which really sucks because it’s just over minimum wage. I had been picking up tasks here, but this month is like no other and it’s like everything I do, people just lie and I never get paid. Thankfully I have a couple of settlement checks that will come in at the end of the month and that’s what I will use to pay back the loan. Thanks for taking the time to read through my request.
