Thoughts about Custas' dub voice?
To be clear, I am not here to hate on the dub. I have really been liking the direction the dub has taken and its choice to make the difference between witches and 'Outsiders' so distinct! I also LOVE Zeno Robinson and was really excited to hear him voicing Custas since he's my favourite character.
That being said, I did find the choice to give him an accent a little odd. As someone who is caught up on the latest chapters of the manga, >!I thought that Custas would have an American accent like Coco or Dagda, despite the fact that he learns about magic later. I wonder if this is some hint about something the manga hasn't shown yet? I'm relatively new to anime so I'm not sure if that's possible.!<
Also, I'm not able to identify what accent he's supposed to have. I was wondering if other people have been able to place where it's from?
All in all, I was just curious to hear other people's thoughts on it! I loved getting to see Custas and Dagda this episode since I've been waiting to see them animated for so long!
