Hi I’m a first year BSc student and I’m just wondering if there’s a department or anyone I could speak with to help me understand if I’m taking the correct units for my degree?

I’m just a bit confused about whether the units i’ve selected for my second semester are actually needed/ helpful or not and I don’t want to mess up and have to take a first year subject next year or end up taking something that doesn’t even matter for my degree etc. It’s just a little ambiguous and confusing on the unit selection page.

In high school we had careers councillors so I’m just wondering if there’s something similar in uni where I can plan ahead and make sure i’m doing the right stuff? Any advice would be appreciated please.
