I'm in Ontario, Canada. I haven't got an offer yet but there's a high chance that I will, pending an in person interview and they've also invited me to see their office and facilities. It's a considerably better opportunity than my current job and will open doors for future career options. Wife and I are expecting a baby in 3 months. If I don't get an offer that will easily put an end to my dilemma. But I wanted get some thoughts from someone who has been in a similar situation. I've turned down some great opportunities in the past for personal reasons and history seems to keep repeating itself. I'd also be entitled to parental leave after 13 weeks of work, will this create a bad impression with the new employer? I've heard that this can jeopardize future opportunities within the company. But babies happen man.

Please be kind in the comments.
