We had an Bosch 20 SEER Heat Pump HVAC installed as part of a renovation at our new home. They installed Bosch BCC100 thermostats having missed that we originally asked for Ecobee. In our current home, we use the remote sensors a lot to help with the comfort level in a room with a lot of computers and bedrooms with closed doors (vs the hallway temp). We just assumed that Ecobee was the way to go again. We set a program and use the sensors and ignore the actual thermostats on the walls. I can't say yet if the sensors will be needed in the new place but the thermostat is placed in the hall as typical. What is your opinion on the two thermostats? They are willing to change to the ecobee but think the Bosch BCC100 is a superior product.
