Hello everyone,
I’m honestly very confused right now and need some real advice.
I’m an optometrist from India and I want to move into a corporate role, preferably in healthcare tech, analytics, or product side. My main goal is to work in the US after MBA
Right now I’m stuck between:
MBA in Healthcare / Healthcare Technology (like MCPHS)
STEM MBA with Business Analytics / AI (like UT Dallas, ASU, etc.) + taking healthcare electives
I don’t have anyone in my family or circle who has done this, so I’m figuring everything out on my own.
My doubts:
Is MBA in Healthcare actually worth it in the US job market?
Or is STEM MBA (analytics/tech) a better option for jobs + H1B?
Are colleges like UT Dallas / ASU better than specialized ones like MCPHS for long-term career?
I’d really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve gone through this or are currently in these programs.
Thanks a lot 🙏
