Hi everyone,

I wanted to get your opinion on this. SAP is heavily pushing cloud and is not selling on premise licensing anymore.

Our company’s business has been mostly supporting customers after implementation. However, customers are being heavily pushed into Public Cloud and are canceling their maintenance contracts, leaving our business crumbs.

The company has been struggling to offer any supporting packages in the cloud, since it seems that most of the support will be done by SAP and when selling cloud products are profit margins itself will be going down.

Is implementation and transformation where it’s at right now? Should supporting consultants consider pivoting?

There is a negative atmosphere in the company lately (Germany).
