Looking for a good independent BMW specialist in the Vancouver/Burnaby/Surrey area.

Had the timing chain done on my N20 BMW recently, but since then I’m getting vibration/resonance around 1500–2500 RPM through the steering wheel/seats and the car feels a bit sluggish. No major codes.

Looking for someone experienced with N20 engines who can properly inspect timing/balance shaft or NVH-related issues.

Any recommendations appreciated!

Recently had major preventive maintenance done:

Timing chain replaced(at 175000km)

Oil pump chain replaced

Timing chain guides/tensioner updated

Engine mounts replaced with new mounts

Spark plugs replaced

Coils replaced

Oil Filter housing gasket

Oil cooler gasket

After the work, the car started feeling different:

Slight vibration felt in cabin/steering wheel at idle and certain RPMs

RPM-specific resonance/vibration in cabin, especially during acceleration or when RPM drops through certain ranges

Engine sound under acceleration feels different than before

Car initially felt slightly less responsive, especially uphill/high RPM

Fuel economy dropped from around 9.3 km/L to around 7.2 km/L

No check engine light or fault codes

Important part: I recently used Liqui Moly DIJectron injector cleaner with Chevron 94 fuel. After that:

vibration improved a LOT

engine became smoother

acceleration/responsiveness improved noticeably

BUT:

some resonance/vibration is still present at certain RPMs

fuel economy is still at 7.2km/l. I did reset the adaptations and fuel economy but still the same.

I'm not able to figure out the problem.
