Approx 13yo non-electric Yuba Boda Boda w/bread basket and v-brakes. Had local shop tune it up and they “helpfully” shortened the front brake cable. Problem is that when you turn front wheel the tighter cable clearance and basket mounts interfere with each other cause the brake to activate. Not ideal. Granted the original set up seemed to have a sloppy, overly long cable but at least it didn’t activate the brake. Q: any best practices for routing the cable? Any downside to having extra long cable? Thanks for any advice.
