After nearly 8 years of service my d4s has died :(

For a while it would sometimes not turn on but a bit of fiddling and it would be fine.

But it's gone, no light, no aux light, no flash when the battery makes connection.

It's been used a lot. Every day for the last few years. My wife has taken to it and it's gone running with her many times. She's very happy to be getting an s21e in purple as a replacement. Part of my move to 21700.

When I get some time I'll dismantle some more and see if I can resurrect it (simple things like giving it a clean didn't help).

Don't expect any replies. Just want to mark the end of my first hank.
