This is the reverse of my RIC IV Elagabalus 201d silver denarius, dated 218-222. Both the certificate of authenticity I got when I purchased it and OCRE (Online Coins of the Roman Empire) say that it shows Felicitas hold a patera (ritual bowl) in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. That is not a cornucopia though. To me it looks more like a wingless caduceus, but I’m unsure if that’s a thing. I’ve seen almost identical designs of the figure Libertas, but the shape of the top part of the staff is different So here’s my id request: what is that staff actually?
Also it’s the same coin in both photos, just different lighting.
