BCHx is now live in Edge — Bitcoin Cash, now with privacy through Zano’s Confidential Layer
Bitcoin Cash was built to function like digital cash: fast, usable, peer-to-peer, and practical for everyday payments.
But one of the defining qualities of cash is privacy. When you pay someone with physical cash, your balance, spending history, and future activity are not exposed to the public. Most public blockchains do not work that way.
That is why we’re excited to announce that BCHx is now available in Edge.
BCHx is a private, tokenized version of Bitcoin Cash on the Zano blockchain, powered by Confidential Layer. It allows users to swap BCH into a 1:1 private asset, bringing Bitcoin Cash into a confidential, self-custody environment.
With BCHx, users get:
• Hidden transaction amounts
• Obfuscated sender and receiver details
• No public transaction traceability
• BCH to BCHx swaps directly inside Edge
• Self-custody privacy without external bridge tools
This follows the launch of BTCx and continues Edge’s rollout of Confidential Assets: private versions of major cryptocurrencies built on Zano’s Confidential Layer.
The idea is simple:
BCH is cash. Cash should be private.
BCHx is now live in Edge.
