With Bayern at home and forced to attack, Hakimi’s absence significantly weakens PSG’s right flank in terms of ball progression, counterattacking speed, and defensive coverage. If Zaïre-Emery fills in at right-back, he simply can’t provide the same qualities, and Fabián Ruiz had a disastrous first leg.
This shifts the game toward a “Bayern high press vs. reduced PSG counterattacking efficiency” dynamic, which increases the likelihood of Bayern scoring 2–3 goals while lowering PSG’s attacking output. That’s why I’m leaning toward a 3–1 prediction.
But, if PSG switch to a deeper, more defensive setup, the game could tighten up into something like 2–1 or another closer scoreline.
