I did a little over 140 miles of driving with a 2025 Camry rental the other day, which doesn’t account for the extra miles I spent searching for parking.

For an accurate gauge, I made sure the car rental checked if the fuel was truly full at their pump before my drive. I only refueled right before I returned the car the day after. I did mostly highway driving and did get stuck in slow traffic when driving in the city.

Is anyone else getting these MPG figures? Could this be due to New York’s lower speed limit on highways/expressways?
