(Apologies for the slightly inaccurate flair— I couldn’t find an amphibious one!)

Freshwater pond in western Mass. I know we have a lot of salamanders and newts in the area, but they don’t (to me) look like any of the ones on the Mass Audubon or other informational sites. As far as I can tell, I’ve only ever seen them in the water, not on land. Roughly 3-4” from tip to tail.
