Today is a happy day, but sad one .
My car that has an APR of 28% was declared total today.
On one hand, I’m ok as I still owe a lot, however the insurance payout is almost exactly what I still owe(I’ve had the car for almost 6 years).
I’m going through the process now of a totaled car loss. That car was my baby, we got through Covid together, happy times, sad times, relationships, long work days, solo adventures. It’s supringsly sad.
But this gives me a chance to actually start over, I moved into my house in Dec, Fixed my credit (700s)I can actually start to save heavily, Downside is I won’t have a car and will be catching the bus for awhile. I’m just not ready for a new car loan. Don’t think I ever will be after this crazy interest rate.
This feels weird lol. But I can scream, I guess change is always good .
