Last summer I got 2 raspberry plants and planted them maybe a foot apart, they grew pretty well, even got some raspberries which I was not expecting for 1st year.
So after the fall we trimmed the plants all the way down for winter. Now both of them are sprouting but I noticed that there is another raspberry plants growing between the two. Now I am wondering if I should leave it there or take it out? Will it get crowded with three of them in that much space, affecting the growth or is it fine?
Also, we got a lot of japanese beetles last year that did a lot of damage to the raspberry plants and my other vegetables. It was my first time growing any vegetables. And I was disheartened by seeing lot of pests.
Any tips/suggestions are appreciated.
Have a wonderful day!
