My lawn has several large patches of 'wilder' grass, in previous years I have removed small clumps and reseeded but it makes not enough difference.

I am booked for scarification next week and plan to hit these patches harder - do you think that will help?

I could also return these areas but may end up with a similar problem longer term depending on the quality?

Any advise appreciated
