Misogyny
I have been listening to this podcast since they started. I still enjoy the pod and I know the host are very passionate about these pop culture topics. That being said the vitriol toward women in general but most notably again Amanda Batula is very off putting. Amanda obviously did something wrong and was a bad friend. Think we can all agree. Sometimes we make wrong choices and have hard lessons and lose friends. That’s life. And yes its a podcast so by all means share your opinions. But they take it to the next level nitpicking everything about her. These “opinions” aren’t even thoughtful or interesting. Its just very mean girl. It seems like they were personally wronged by Amanda. Its giving misogyny. My therapist taught me that if I am so bothered by what someone else is doing that it is time to look inward and ask why I am so bothered by it and what judgments and biases I am holding on to. I dunno. Just wanted to share. I was genuinely shocked by how hard they went.
