Unauthorized employed

Hi everyone,
I originally filed for marriage-based Adjustment of Status back in 2024 and received my EAD/work permit, so I’ve been legally working. Recently, my AOS case was denied in 2026 mainly due to insufficient marriage evidence/documentation, not because of fraud or any criminal/background issues.
I have now refiled the entire case with much stronger evidence.

My concern is about employment while the new case is pending. Since my previous EAD was tied to the denied case, I’m worried whether continuing to work could become a serious issue or negatively affect the refiled AOS case.
Has anyone here gone through something similar — denial due to lack of bona fide marriage evidence and then successfully refiled?
Did USCIS question unauthorized work during the second filing?
Was it forgiven/immediately overlooked as the spouse of a U.S. citizen?
Did it create problems at interview stage?
Would really appreciate hearing real experiences or attorney guidance from people who dealt with a refile after denial. Thanks in advance.
