Ok, so I messed up. My cardiologist and I don't quite click in communication.

I have chronic fatigue, have for about 2 years. I was referred to cardio for multiple irregular heartbeats on my BP cuff at home and random mild chest pains just out of an abundance of caution.

Go to the first cardio appt and they do an ECG. It says IVCD.

I see the Dr, he says what brings you in, so I tell him the issues that specifically got me there. Not all my symptoms. I thought the appt would have more substance but that was about the whole appt.

What brings you in and ok, we're going to run tests. The end.

PET stress test. Echocardiogram. Week long monitor.

Had followup today.

Stress test showed some abnormal thickening at rest and stress.

Monitor was all good news.

Echo showed mitral and tricuspid insufficiency. Dr said mild and not causing symptoms. Say ya next year for a repeat echo and followup. He asked if I had questions, he really did, but I don't do well with on the spot

Google (yes, I know, Dr Google is never a great idea), says that even mild because it is TWO valves could actually be causing the fatigue.

I'm 90% sure I never told the cardiologist that I have chronic and fairly severe fatigue. So two questions. One) should I reach back out to the Dr office and ask or would that just be a waste of everyone's time? And Two) could the two valves (even just mild) be causing the fatigue?

Ok, one more question. Is annual followup normal for two valves being ornery? Google is giving me mixed answers and sure making it seem like the Dr downplayed the seriousness?

I feel more confused with answers than I did before all this started 🤦🏻‍♀️
