Leakers are pointing to the May 14 update as the release window, which conveniently lines up with The Boys' final season finale on May 20.

Expected cosmetics:

- Homelander (basically confirmed at this point)

- Possibly Butcher, Starlight, Black Noir, Hughie

- Skins, back blings, pickaxes, emotes, and even vehicle cosmetics

Nothing officially confirmed by Epic yet, but the leakers behind this are usually reliable. Who's the skin you're grabbing first?

It's a deep olive green Carlex build on a modern G-Wagon spotted at Black Fox Motors in Munich. White roof, whitewall tires, retro steel-style wheels, and a white spare tire cover on the back. Somehow makes a modern AMG feel like it rolled out of a 1970s luxury catalog. What really got me is how much it reminds me of the classic Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The boxy silhouette, two-tone paint, chrome trim lines running along the body. And then you peek inside and it's full modern AMG with dark brown leather and orange accent trim.

Seriously one of the most tasteful custom builds I've ever seen in person. Your thoughts about that beauty?

Here's what we know so far:

  • A slew of new cosmetics are coming - skins, emotes, bundles, packs
  • More surprise collabs could be announced as we get closer

The timing is what's interesting. The Showdown is only on Act 2 of 3, with an Epilogue and end-of-season live event still to come, so v40.30 is almost certainly setting up the next chapter of that storyline. And let's be honest, with May the Fourth literally four days after this update, Star Wars content feels inevitable.
