First time at Nürburgring 24h — looking for a ride from Nürnberg/Erlangen
Hi everyone,
I’m a Bangladeshi living in Germany and recently completed my M.Sc. at FAU. This will be my first ever racing event, and I’m going to fulfill a dream of watching Max Verstappen race in person.
I have only a race ticket for the Nürburgring 24h, not camping or accommodation. I’m travelling from the Nürnberg/Erlangen area, but public transportation is turning out to be quite difficult. From Nürnberg it becomes a very long journey with multiple changes, and I’m worried I’ll arrive already exhausted before even enjoying the 24h race.
Is anyone driving from Nürnberg, Erlangen, or nearby on Friday evening/night or early Saturday morning and has one extra seat available?
I’m travelling alone and I’m not experienced with racing events, so it would really help to go with someone or at least get advice from people who know the Nürburgring. Of course, I can share fuel costs, pay a fair contribution, or whatever works for you.
Any help, advice, or leads would mean a lot.
