Hello friends, I'm looking for perspective on whether or not it's actually worthwhile staying at AHS.

My department has become increasingly high pressure and difficult to stay in. The general issues are probably pretty familiar to a lot of people: constantly increasing workloads, limited staffing, constant pressure, turnover, leadership and organizational issues.

I’m at the point where I’m seriously questioning whether the pension, benefits, and "job security" 😅😅😅 are worth staying for if the work environment is affecting my quality of life.

For those who made the move out of AHS:

Was it worth it?

Did you regret leaving the pension/benefits?

How did the private sector compare in terms of workload, stress, pay, flexibility, and career growth?

Did you feel like your quality of life improved?

I am already looking for internal opportunities in other departments, or may consider taking a pay cut and stepping back down into my previous clinical role 🥲🥲🥲
