Okay, I know there is a lot of apps already out there designated to help you find local basketball, soccer, volleyball games etc to go join for the day. The angle I am trying to go after is that none of these would keep track of your record.

My idea is an app that you create a team, gain ranking points when you win and lose when lose, and the app keeps this record. This allows you to fall into the bronze tier per se, and be able to challenge other bronze tier players. On the opposite side, those hyper competitive teams have a goal to sit atop of the local leaderboard, rivalries form etc.

Is this something that would be valuable, launch, and worth continuing to pursue?

It would rely heavily on both teams agreeing on the score to submit a win or loss to the app, but I am open to other improvements.

Genuinely curious. I feel like Chicago has some of the most competitive pickup culture in the country but there's no way to actually know who's running things. No record, no ranking, nothing official.

Who's nice? What courts are the most competitive right now? Is there even a way to know which crews are actually the best or is it all just word of mouth?
