I’m looking for a tablet for a kid and I’m trying to avoid buying something that’s either too slow after a month or impossible to manage. I don’t need anything fancy, but I do want something reliable for videos, simple games, learning apps, and maybe reading.

The big things I care about are good parental controls, decent battery life, durability, and a case that can survive being dropped more than once. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews, so I’m not sure what’s actually worth buying.

For parents who already bought one, what kids tablet did you end up with and would you buy it again?
