La Vuelta 2026 Trip Planning - Help Please

My wife and I are planning to follow La Vuelta 2026 for the final week. It's our first grand tour, and we thought La Vuelta might be a little less "intense" than Giro or TDF. Any and all advice is welcome, as this is our first time doing anything like this. In lieu of paying for a VIP experience (we don't have that kinda money) we still want to try to ride at least some of the stages day-of, if possible. So obviously some logistics to work out. Right now, schedule looks like:

Sept. 8 - train Madrid -> Seville, then rent a car.
Follow race to Granada. Train back to Madrid.

Unfortunately, we can't bring our bikes so that is the big part we're trying to figure out - can't locate a ton of info online about bike hires or doing this...should we rent in Madrid and just cart bikes with us all week? (we're trying to find nice road bikes to rent). Race day we drive to a spot that seems doable, ride some of the stage, watch the race, then ride back to car. In theory, this seems doable...? Again, any and all advice is welcome! Thank you!
