Hey everyone, I built a small Chrome extension for a very specific problem I kept running into:

Sometimes I’d find a really good post on X, go back later, and it was deleted, edited, or just impossible to find again.

So I made a lightweight tool called Post Clipper for X. It lets you save the post you’re currently viewing into a private local archive in your browser.

What it does:

• save individual X posts
• preserve long-form post content
• keep images with the saved post
• store everything locally in the browser
• export a saved post as ZIP

What it does not do:

• no cloud sync
• no account system
• no bulk scraping
• no auto-archiving in the background

I wanted it to feel more like a personal notebook than a growth tool.

I’m still improving it, so I’d really love feedback.
