I posted last week about her having a slipped disc and It’s not good news unfortunately. We took her back today and despite the medication and strict rest she’s gotten worse.
The vet have referred her for an urgent CT to assess how bad her condition is, but her qol is terrible right now and given her age we’ve been told to consider that saying goodbye may be the kindest option unless it’s not as bad as they think.
I’m completely broken tbh, the last 7 years with her and her sister have been the best years of my life and I still can’t accept that we may have to lose one half of the best double-act in the world.
I’m sorry I couldn’t give better news but it’s very raw and we’re still processing the news.
Squeeze your babies as tight as you can and give them a big kiss for Tilly please.

Feeling a bit low today, She's been struggling with a bit of a limp recently so took her to the vet and it looks like a slipped disc in her spine (IVDD). She's a little trooper and doesn't appear to be in any pain but it's clearly affecting her.

It's just come as a reminder that our babies (her sister is going slightly deaf) are getting older and there's nothing we can do except give them all the cuddles and love in the world but man they break my heart.
