What’s up everyone. I’m a manufacturer who builds apps with AI because I don't have a grade 12 education and I’d rather spend my time in the shop than in a code editor.
I realized that as I built more apps (StackApps), my AI agents were getting confused. They'd try to help me with a packing slip or an invoice, but they’d click the wrong thing and get stuck.
I realized we are missing a "map" for the AI. So I started the Blueprint Protocol.
It’s an open-source standard for a blueprint.txt file. It’s like robots.txt, but it tells the AI exactly how to use your app. No complex Git knowledge or deep dev skills needed—you just tell the AI: "To log a habit, click the button with data-agent-id='log-button'".
Why I'm sharing it: I don't "own" this. I just want it to exist so my own apps stay honest. If the AI can read your blueprint, it stops hallucinating and starts actually being useful.
I’m just a guy at a saw trying to make the agentic web work for the rest of us. If you’re tired of your "vibed" apps failing when you try to automate them, give this a look.
