We strive to be better/

Strive to be clever/

What is it that everyone truly seeks?

Money to pay the bills/

It all just seems so silly when you look at it/

Keep food in our stomachs just to survive, to stay alive

So that they can ask the question

Why do we work so hard?

I started watching HunterXHunter for the first time and it’s so good. I love the characters and character development. Killua is probably my favorite character but I love how Gon is such a try hard, haha it reminds me of myself. I loved the episodes with the phantom troupe and the hunter test. I’m now at the part where the queens royal guard is born. I don’t know what it is, but the whole ant episodes kinda weirded me out. I don’t know if it just gave me Epstein island vibes when the queen first ate the children. But I just felt so weird when these episodes came on. It sucks because the show was so good and it still is. Curious to know if anyone got weird vibes when starting that arc…

Maybe it just seemed a little too real, which made it creepy.
