Hi all! I am so glad I found this sub!
I'm 33 weeks and a FTM. The closest hospital to me is designated baby friendly. While I like a lot of their practices, I have no desire to breastfeed for multiple reasons and have decided to EP. I'm really worried about pushy RNs and LCs. When I toured the hospital, the RN said they do have pumps and formula. Advised not to bring my own pump as there are too many on the market for LCs to know how to use them all. I didn't explicitly say I wanted to EP, more feeling out what I would have as alternatives. I'm more stressed about them trying to latch baby girl than actually birthing her.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle possibly pushy LCs and RNs? Should I bring this up at my next OB appointment? Looking for any guidance and experience. Thank you!
