Wanting to Upgrade my CPU to get more FPS on competitive FPS games like R6 and BF6. Also play ultra modded skyrim and Heavily modded minecraft seriously pushing the game to its limit as a modpack/mod developer where I need the best CPU Performance possible.
Originally I had wanted to upgrade to a 7800x3d but I Figured I might try and do an in socket upgrade and keep the DDR4 RAM so I dont have to drop 1000$+ on new DDR5 RAM/CPU/MOBO Combo just to upgrade my CPU

RAM - 32GB (8x4) DDR4 3600MHZ
What CPU should I get for the largest performance increase? I'm aiming for like 300+ FPS on R6 DX12 and 200+ on BF6.
Mainly looking at i7 14700kf or i9 14900kf. Or should I just wait for DDR5 Prices to go down? Seems like were cooked as far as that goes.
This is the upgrade I really wanted to get https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dN6WqH but seems wayyy to expensive with DDR5 Ram Prices when just getting a i9 -14900KF would cost half as much. Should I just try and sell all my Intel stuff then buy DDR5, AM5 Board and 7800x3d ?
Open to any other upgrade ideas!
