Hi everyone,
Some of you might remember a post I made a while ago about how a simple 3D printing project turned into something much bigger.
Quick recap — I’m a professional drone pilot from France, and I teamed up with a Ukrainian 3D artist at the start of the war. What began as small charity mini projects slowly evolved into real-world involvement. Since then, I’ve traveled multiple times to Ukraine to train firefighters and rescue teams in drone operations, while we continued creating and selling 3D models to fund humanitarian support.
You can know more about our story and our previous project here : https://www.reddit.com/r/PrintedWarhammer/comments/13alaef/from_mini_designing_to_drone_rescue_teams/
Today, we’re still doing both.
And this post is mainly about our latest release.
We’ve just finished a full alternative armor kit for the Warhammer 40K Destrier, heavily inspired by Mechanicus Knight patterns — Moirax, Magaera, Styrix, Atropos, and Asterius. The goal was to create something that feels like it came straight out of a forge world: heavier, more brutal, more industrial.
This is a fan-made upgrade, fully compatible with the original kit (which you still need from Games Workshop), designed for high-detail resin printing.
Like all our previous projects, this isn’t just about making cool models. Every sale helps fund real support on the ground in Ukraine — from equipment to direct aid.
What started as a hobby project between two people is now something that connects modeling, printing, and real-world impact.
If you like grimdark, Mechanicus aesthetics, or just want to support the project, it honestly means a lot.
