Help with Stone Herd bladewing trail in great games dlc

I’m finished with the quests of this dlc and want to finish the bladewing trail before I move onto the next dlc as it’s the last thing I have to do here. Unfortunately this particular bladewing trail in the Stone Herd is extremely difficult for me. Every time I try it I get ambushed by feral thanators or a wild rda squad that the moths fly right by and are unavoidable which scares off the moths. I can take out the squad or ferals and go back only for the rda or ferals to have respawned. That’s not even mentioning that when I finally do get to the cliff every few times the moths go straight over the cliff and fly alongside it instead of over it. There is absolutely no way down to a lower level of the cliff edge that I’ve seen and I’m sure the game doesn’t want me to throw myself and my horse over the edge so I’m really not sure where I’m supposed to go. Every time I manage to successfully set up jumping off the horse and onto my ikran to follow the moths to the cliff I just get ambushed by ferals and rda yet again. I kid you not I tried doing this 8 times just now before finally giving up to see if anyone here knows how to do this. I’ve tried looking for guides but every guide on the bladewing trail doesn’t include any dlc at all.

I take 3 doses of 75mg capsules of venlafaxine daily, just realized that I’m out of them today. Usually that’s no big deal, pharmacy should have texted me about a refill. They haven’t. I talk to my mom about it since we share the same doctor. Apparently our doc up and left. This is the second doctor in as many years to have done this. I’ve accidentally gone cold turkey for two days on this medication once and it was hell, I will be doing what I can tomorrow to get a walk in appointment with a new doc and hopefully get my proper meds. In the meantime I have escitalopram in 20mg pills leftover from before I switched meds. Would taking the escitalopram help with the withdrawal in any way or should I just grit my teeth and bear it?
