People who believe consciousness is not emerging from brain activity, how do you explain children start with a different consciousness compared to adults
Basically the title.
People who think consciousness emerge from the brain (me included) explain it from the fact the brain need to mature via experimenting with the world. For example, before 2 years, a child does not understand that one is a separated entity from one s parents.
Why is a children consciousness so different from an adult if consciousness is independent from biological aspects?
Genuine question.
