Mayor protecting illegal neighbor expansion for years
What legal options do you have when a mayor deliberately protects an illegal neighbor encroachment for years?
We filed countless complaints, but the mayor kept blocking every report and covering for the guy while he keeps expanding illegally. We even called the police multiple times, but they say it’s up to the mayor to stop him.
The neighbor is openly committing illegal acts, including fencing the road and completely blocking our house front and even using active telephone poles as support for the fence he built, and still nobody acts.
Has anyone dealt with this kind of corruption or abuse of authority before? What can legally force action?
