Hi everyone,

Were currently redoing our bathrooms and we are considering our options regarding water heating.
Were a 2 person household but have been dealing with consistent powercuts in our road due to the over/under.
Currently we have a 150L Geyser in one of our bathrooms but that isn't enough if both of us need to shower on the same evening.
In one of the bathrooms we would like to install a bathtub, which also happens to be the smaller bathroom of the two. Now having a huge tank in there to be able to comfortably fill the tub and wash off afterwards feels like a waste of space.
Thus i was considering instant water heaters. I know abroad they are very common, being either gas or 3phase electric heaters. Now as for gas, i am assuming it would be done with the gas tanks as there is no central heating system in Malta.
As for electric i looked into it a couple of years ago when we bought the place and found out most of them need 3-phase power to run. Installation costs around 900 euro, but since i know basically nothing about electricity i wanted to ask, if its going to affect our over/under more and if we would have more power cuts like that?
We currently only have one 24btu AC in our living room but were hoping to get more for our bedroom and home office too. I worry that the more electrical appliances we get into our house the more frequent these over/under powercuts will get, and i don't know how 3phase power would affect this. Would it possibly be actually helpful to get it installed or is it technically unrelated? I'm sorry if these are stupid questions, but i would like to actually understand.
