Trapped gas, no bloating. IBS C meds and other methods not helping.

Usually Linzess gives me some diarrhea but last week I wasn't responding as I normally do.

I felt very full and the stomach is being stretched. I feel an uncomfortable sensation in my chest and little like I cant fully my breath. Eventually the pain went away but it came back this morning.

Ive tried Gax Ex extra strength, IB Guard, warm ginger tea, and Linzess. Went on a brisket 30 minute walk, used my heating pad, used a massage gun, did fart yoga.

No BM still. Still feeling the pressure. It's so uncomfortable. I cant think straight.

This is not a typical symptom of my IBS C episodes. Mine are always pain from cramping and intense nausea.

I am going to lose my mind from the discomfort.

I was on 150 mg bupropion and I had no issues. Then a GI doctor thought I had silent heartburn and put me on Famotidine. I had a very bad reaction to it. I learned there were drug interactions risks with bupropion and geodone, which I take both of.

Pyschiatrist lowered me to 75 mg and I ended up stopping the other med as it was a misdiagnos.

I've noticed though I get a tingly feeling on the top of my head in the morning. It's not instant after I take my meds.

Im not sure if this is a dehydration issue or if it's because of the different bupropion dose.

I know I cant handle the 300 mg dose. 150 mg dose never had a single issue.

I hope it goes away.

At the start of March I met with my sexual health doctor, Dr. K,who agreed I was starting perimenopause. She was super supportive and very validating unlike my ob gyn. That provider first told me she doesn't do blood testing because it's not reliable but then turned around and tested me because I have an IUD. She tells me I am fine and not menopause. Gave me gabapetin for sleep.

I never told her I thought I was in menopause. I specifically laid out perimenopause.

Dr K prescribed estradiol patch .05 mg and 200 mg prometrium.

Several days in March I am struggling with bad nausea and GI pain. I do have IBS C. I can have flares that last a week to two weeks. I've dealt with this for years. I had a bad flare last November and in January. These flares trigger intercystitis flares.

Nothing helps my nausea. Pepto, dramamine, nauzene, anti nasal wrist cuffs, Rx zofran, Rx Promethazine, Rx Reglan, and Rx Scopolamine: zero help.

I havent had much help with the GI pain either. Hyoscyamine helps with bladder for intercystitis but not GI pain. Dicyclomine doesn't help. I know Im forgetting other meds.

Ive done all the scoping and several motility tests but results are all normal and don't help me understand GI issues.

Then mid April nausea and GI issues start to be all the time. I was having a hard time coping. There also was part of stomach area that hurt/ached more than other areas.

It is so hard to get into GI so I took a same day internal medicine appointment. I felt like it was a horrible IBS C flare. Got an Xray and it did not show severe constipation. That didnt surprise me to much as I have bad flares before with the same kind of xray results.

Did big blood panel work. Normal ranges.

Eventually I get to a GI nurse. At this point I feel like I will need to take leave from work because it is so bad.

Do an ultrasound. Some gallbladder sludge but nothing major. They think maybe I have silent heartburn so I get a med for that. It reacts horrible with two meds I am on, which I figured out when I looked it up for drug interactions. Bad stuff and it didnt help.

Get a CT scan of stomach and intestines. Nothing.

Somedays I would wake up and be nausea the entire day with pain coming and going. Sometimes the pain made me cry. Other days I could be fine all day until.the evening. Somedays I just felt like my stomach was stretched, no bloated belly or gas pains though.

My intercystitis got so bad from all this GI stuff it triggered Vulvodynia and my nighttime urgency has been through the roof. the other night in a 3 hour period, I peed 14 times.

Im getting hydrodistension this Friday. It was discussed in January when I was flaring and we were starting a new treatment.

It never occurred to me that it could be my HRT making my GI issues worse. It wasn't every day in March. Plus I have gone through all of this before for many many years just never for this long. My providers who can see when I start meds didnt make the connection either. I still feel so stupid. I talked to my provider about taking medical leave FFS. And here maybe it's just me causing this harm to myself and not my IBS.

I reached out to Dr. K and. briefly described what was happening. She said it can cause some GI issues but it usually resolved and doesn't last long like mine is. She recommended I stop.

So I have. I feel good today but I dont know yet is it because I stopped or is today the random good GI day or is it the day where I dont get ill until dinner.

HRT was helping my sleep better, gave back my libido, cut down the itching, reduced night time drive anxiety to almost nothing, and more.

I will be so pissed if I cant use any form of it.

I dont even know if I can get an appt with Dr. K this year because she is that busy.

I told my partner I would have to give up my big garden. My mom was praying for me. A friend was telling me to go the Mayo.

I feel embarrassed to tell them it was just me taking HRT and not realizing the obvious factor in my GI changes.

Since late March I have been dealing with near constant nausea and also intense GI pain. Has made intercystitis flare up which one flared some vulvodynia.

I am having trouble to remember to take azo when Im eating because I am barely hanging on. I have such tiny windows where I feel okay enough to eat that I cant remember other things.

I am so tired and I tried to lay down at 7:40.But I've been up 8 times to pee. I managed to eat some biscuits and I hope that was enough with the Azo. I get super sick on it if I dont take after food.

I am so freaking tired.

My provider wants to get me.in next Friday for hydrodistension. My pre op physical is Monday. I dont know if I will.be approved right now.

got prescribed Amitriptyline for the pain. But then I found out it's awful for weight gain. I already put on like 12 pounds since March of last year and perimenopause makes it hard to lose. I cant deal with this too.

It's all so much.
