Hi everyone,
I hope it’s okay to ask something a little different here.
My wife is 41 and absolutely loves romance, romantasy, and spicy books. Reading has really been her main hobby for years, and she has read so much at this point that she sometimes feels like she already knows every recommendation that comes up (she also has a PhD in literature).
Recently we’ve talked a bit about hobbies, fulfillment, getting older, and how easy it is to slip into a routine where everyday things replace actual excitement. We don’t have children, so our life situation is a bit different from many people our age, and I’d especially appreciate perspectives that are not centered around parenting.
So my question is: What do you genuinely enjoy doing besides reading? What helped you avoid feeling stuck or like life became too repetitive?
Thanks a lot in advance!
