Guidewire developers in North America - how's the market?
Basically the title. How are you finding job opportunities? A lot of them out there or none at all?

Joined not too long ago as a backend engineer at a very large non-tech company.
I'm noticing everything is segregated / siloed.
The backend engineers don't create or update any cloud infrastructure, that belongs to the DevOps / cloud team. We also don't touch the database, that belongs to the database admins. When we propose a new data model, it requires coordination with like 50 other teams.
Day to day we're really just focused on writing code in the application / business logic layer, everything else is handled by other teams.
I'm used to working in smaller companies where the engineers own things end-to-end.
Is this normal or a huge red flag?
How are the job prospects post graduation? Heard a lot of people were struggling.
How's the software dev market in Winnipeg these days? I'm at a pretty stable employer but looking to switch as I feel like I'm not gaining the skills I want here.
Basically the title. I'm in a pretty safe company right now but feel like I could be earning more and gaining more skills..but all this negative talk on career subreddits has me double guessing whether I should job hop (if the opportunity presents itself of course..way easier said than done).
Have any of you had success job hopping? How was the process? How is the new company? Any regrets?
