Do I really need premium weed versus budget weed? Is it time to upscale?
To begin, I'm a Gen X and someone who did not partake in cannabis for over 30 years. Got back into it this last year (age, pain, parent with Alzheimer's, etc) starting with Gummies, which were outstanding then moved to flower and now making my own tinctures regularly.
My question is this: I keep seeing these ads and comments about premium bud/ exclusive bud, that's supposedly so much better, but I am a lightweight THC user. Just a little bit gets me buzzed. Half of a POTV Lobo dose is more than enough and I rarely vape. My main means of consumption is homemade STRONG tinctures....Using smalls and essentials and budget weed has been fine. Again, Gen X'r used to 5,6, 7% THC and now with THC being at 20%to 30% it's just so strong so I'm a lightweight.(I do mix type one with type three and four to mitigate that.)
Sorry for the long post, just curious if I need to upscale to premium.....is it worth some extra money for me or just stick with budget?
I do really enjoy the Terpines and flavor of the dry herb vape, so if they're that much better with premium weed, I guess I'll upgrade.
