Implant/Crown and possible fistula question

Hi all, hoping to gets some feedback here. First time posting. I'm a 40 year old healthy woman---in 2020--like week COVID started, my root canal I had in one of my front teeth at 19 got infected and had to be removed. Fast forward and I got an implant/crown that took around 15 months in total to finalize. I've been flossing and using waterpik. I see my regular dentist every 6 months (he did the crown and I like him a lot). I noticed a small looking thing near my gumline at the implant maybe 6-8 months ago....I saw my denist in January and then again 3 weeks ago. I made sure they looked at what I was seeing--I thought maybe it was irritated gum tissue? He ended up sending me back to oral surgeon to get scans to see if I have a fistula or something else. He was able to push out a little pus--I have no pain. So I went yesterday, got scans and now waiting on oral surgeon to look over scans. I'm in full blown panic mode. The tech I saw yesterday implied I may have to do the ENTIRE implant and crown/etc all over! He said Xray wasn't showing anything alarming. They have a periodonist at the oral surgeon I see as well. I'm just totally terrified. My dentist acted like he wasn't overly concerned because the Xray was looking good to him too, but just being overly cautious--for obvious reasons with the implant. Not only was this whole thing over 10K but it caused an insane amount of emotional stress and the tech scared the shit out of me saying that is a possibility. Any insight here? Blah. Hate this.
