Lanna Muay Thai + Accommodation

Hey everyone — I’m planning to spend 3–4 weeks in Chiang Mai and train Muay Thai. I found a package at Lanna Muay Thai for about $500/month that includes accommodation + 2x/day training.

For those who’ve trained there or in Chiang Mai in general: would you recommend taking that package, or is it better to find separate accommodation and just pay for training?

Appreciate any advice 🙏

Airasia

Deciding between a $350 Cathay Pacific flight and a $250 AirAsia flight from Tokyo to Chiang Mai.

The price difference isn’t huge, but I’ve been second-guessing budget carriers a bit after some recent headlines. Not sure if that’s actually justified or just in my head.

Is the extra $100 for Cathay worth it for comfort/reliability, or is AirAsia perfectly fine for a route like this?

I’ve got the budget either way, just trying to decide if it’s better spent on the flight or saved for stuff once I’m there.
