Ghost Recon Project Over Job Listings? Experience with Unreal Engine 5

Ubisoft Paris requires a new Technical Art Director and Lead Technical Art specialist, with solid Unreal Engine 5 experience.

Both job listings mention the candidate having experience on early development experience on a multiplayer realistic shooter game.

We know that some leaks have suggested Ghost Recon Project Over will have a strong co-op mode of up to 6 players.

Tom Henderson has mentioned that the game will be on Unreal Engine 5. Reason? To have a more realistic and gritty look.

Ubisoft is leaning hard on AI Prompting - quite interesting.

I don't believe Farcry or the Division will be on Unreal Engine 5, but snowdrop. This leaves me to believe that they're recruiting new roles for Ghost Recon Project Over.

OG Ghost Recon: A Thinking Mans Game versus the Action Man Slop We have Today

The first Ghost Recon games made you prioritise thinking, planning and strategizing. What made this game tactical, is that you could not finish missions without applying these characteristics.

Recent games, Future Soldier, Wildlands and Breakpoint, you're role playing as a special forces Ghost, but you don't need to apply the same level of thinking, planning and strategizing.

No modern Ghost Recon game has given me the level of satisfaction, fulfilment or dopamine hit of completing a mission compared to Ghost Recon 1/GRAW 1/2 PC.

I would love to see, but I highly doubt it, that this massive open world will bring back the environment, mechanics and AI that made the earlier games incredibly difficult, punishing and forced you to play tactically.

If you're in this Reddit group, and you haven't played the earlier games but have opinions on the whole franchise, please state that before giving ignorant responses.

And for the Ghosts that have played the OG games and the modern ones, but agree or disagree, let me know your thoughts.

Fair, right? I'm trying to be less of an &ss hole.

Eagleyezx out,

P.S, I like the action man slop, but I think OG is much better.
