Hello! So for context this is my second baby and I was really excited to EBF this time around. I did get some slight nipple damage in the hospital and reached out to a LC when we got home to get some help and advice. While she was there she saw that my baby had green poop rather than the normal yellow. We did not do a weighted feed because she forgot her scale but she helped correct my posture and how I was latching him. Later that day she calls me and tells me I most likely have an over supply and to start block feeding. Baby started crying at the breast a few days in and I told her I think my supply is tanking. Fast forward a week and we are in the hospital because he’s been losing too much weight and now I’m only getting 10 mls when I was getting 1.5 oz after a feeding. Am I crazy to think that this block feeding is what made my “just enough” supply tank drastically? Also please any advice to get it back up. I’m devastated.
